It works by anonymizing the source data in different ways, for example the basic benchmarking group simply consists of "all hotels using the LHS". Even though it is a mix of three to five star hotels, it provides you with a relevant reference line for your own hotel.
We will never compromise your data, so that a competitor would know your exact figures, but we can for example provide a benchmarking group which contains "four star hotels in Sweden" and tell you what hotels are part of that group and what the mean result of that groups is.
